In a conscious effort to bring more positivity to this website {and to all our challenging lives}, I have carried over the "My Awesome Kid" campaign that appeared on
our Facebook page as a permanent feature on this site. It appears in the tabs above and is labeled, of course,
"My Awesome Kid."
This page is full of uplifting stories and comments as well as a whole lot of pictures of very adorable kids. Visiting the
"My Awesome Kid" page I {almost} guarantee will lift you out of {just about} any funk. Just seeing all those smiling faces can brighten your day! The "campaign" was such a blessing for me on the
Facebook page because that very same morning I had been told my son had to leave the private school he was attending. I could have, and would have, laid in bed for days and cried but reading all the great things about these kids with ADHD helped me focus on that, and not the school upheaval.
So visit the
"My Awesome Kid" page often. Each time I receive a new entry I'll add it to the top of the page. Right now there are already 70!
If you'd like to submit your Awesome Kid and what makes them so awesome, visit the
My Awesome Kid submission form and complete it -- it will take less than 10 minutes. By sharing your child's awesome traits, you help those with a similar parenting journey focus on the gifts in their own child. You make a difference!
